Yesterday I did a shooting for my new Bikecheck on CalleMarconi.com, It was a bit since I did some still life shooting and I thought it was a good chance to do something new. I found those trees near my house, and I thought that they would be helpful and really nice to create the effect of a floating bike. I tried to use a fishing line for hanging the bike, but the one I had was too much thin, so I just used a rope and than I had to remove it with an heavy session of photohsop (god bless the content-aware tool).
 Here you can see the set up, I just moved one of them for some closer shots to light up a bit more the shadows.

I used my two Vivitar 285hv, softed up the light with umbrellas, one silver and one white, both remotely controlled via Elinchrom Skyports.
For the camera I used my Canon EOS 50D with the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L.

For my new bike check I wanted to do something a bit different. This is what came out of it, I found this interesting tree near my house so I thought to use it.

I almost forgot this. This summer we did this little clip for the Nike The Chosen contest. We filmed it in Brescia and at my place in just 2 days. Edited in just one.
The riding is nothing crazy, but I think we did a nice job on capturing what bmx is really for us. enjoy.

We designed and developed this site for the guys at 341PRODUCTION, they wanted a site with a nice portfolio, without frills or nothing, just go directly to their works. We added to it some ajax goodness to make the interface smoother and a blog, plus obviously the basic pages.

This is the 4th version of Calle Marconi, completely redesigned with the young target that the site has. Simple and clean with some Pics and Typo to give it force and youngness. we splitted the blog and all the other section from the shop to be able to make the most from both Magento and WordPress.

My good mate Brodie is travelling the world this year and he stopped at my place for a while, those pictures are some highlights.
